Buster 2 1-turn tracks 6/15/25

Carmel Church.  Humid!  Not awful for June.   Wanted to keep it short for 2 reasons:  1) heat  2) healing for luxating patella on back left.  He didn't limp at all today.  Yay!

  1. I can’t tell what happened on the first track…looks like he overshot, and then maybe you weren’t sure where it was? Once you two got in synch, it looked nice. But the turn looked as though you were both confused!

Second track, again, turn itself a bit rough, but you two worked it out and he was good on the second leg. LOVED the article. Once again, you handled well.

Glad to see you out there training!

    1. Glad to be out there! Sounds like you saw it just how I felt it! Will go back to marked turns!

  2. I thought on track 1 he was working hard to convince you the turn was still ahead. He made the turn when you finally went with him. Track 2, I thought he showed great loss of scent at turn. You backed up and off he went. I do think you and your track layer need to work on how much help you want, being more specific about where you are in relation to track, etc 'the narrative' between you - it takes a bit of practice to get that conversation to support the effort. Great job getting out and keeping things simple and fun!
