Tracking Class Oct. 29, 2022

Learned some good things today!  The scuff, walk, drop food pattern. . .I finally understand it  AND was able to use it effectively!  Also used some double line-ups!  Did 2 starter tracks. . .one in woods, one in open field.  Both maybe 60-100 yards.  1 hour 15 and other one 1 hour 30.    It was also "double-layed" so that Bob could follow and see how to lay the track.   Woods track --awesome.  He kept his nose DOWN and even ate some of the food drops.  Made a nice turn, over a big log and stopped at article!   Judi said that was the best she has seen him track! See photo of my "maps".  Is this what it's supposed to look like?  I wrote note first 1-5 for each direction/turn.  Then later drew the map on right. Measuring my stride:  I walked the soccer (football also for middle school) field up and back.  Had exactly 35 steps both ways.  What does this say ...
