 Man, this impressed ME!  He was so ON it!  Sorry the videos are a bit shaky. . .We were moving!  He was pulling nice through tall, clumpy grass.  I really had to be careful of my footing. He ate very little food along the way, even at the start.  Somewhere along the way I tried to adjust the camera view and accidently stopped and restarted it.    So there are 2 videos. He PICKED up the article at the end!  I used a glove and stuffed his toy into the glove with treats and secured it closed w/ rubberband.  No self-rewarding!      Question:  When do I start using a START article?  And HOW?  Do I ask him to pick it up or DOWN on it?  Or just sniff it and go?    Part I           Part II

I learn something EVERY SINGLE time!  I have LOVED this class!  It's the highlight of my weekends!  I need to stay motivated during the summer when I don't have a scheduled time and place to be.   STAY the course!  Don't get bold / jump the gun.  Don't RUSH it.  Will be ready to TD in Oct. at Bloodhound National Specialty.
